Guarded fingertip projector
An enclosed pico-projector displays lessons on a wall or table. Distance, orientation, motion, obstruction, and heat checks stop the light automatically.

A friendly classroom robot that listens, gestures, and projects lessons while the teacher stays in control.
An enclosed pico-projector displays lessons on a wall or table. Distance, orientation, motion, obstruction, and heat checks stop the light automatically.
Two low-force arms use slow, limited gestures. Protected joints and a stable dock keep Lumi focused on presenting, not roaming the room.
The teacher starts and stops sessions, chooses approved lesson material, and can interrupt Lumi instantly.
A hardware switch disconnects the microphones. The first version has no camera, face recognition, emotion recognition, or hidden listening mode.
The weighted charging dock improves stability. The sealed, wipe-clean shell avoids exposed fabric, loose parts, and accessible batteries.
Signed software, device-specific credentials, school controls, audit events, and the same curriculum and child-safety rules as the web app.
Designed around the teacher
Lumi can present an approved diagram, read aloud, run a call-and-response activity, or support a small group. It does not grade, discipline, identify faces, or make decisions about a child.
Version-one target
The finger houses a protected projector aperture, not an exposed laser pointer. The optical engine only activates in an allowed pose, at an allowed distance, while the device is stationary.
This concept is not certified. Optical, toy, electrical, radio, battery, and cybersecurity testing must be completed before any school pilot.
